I took this photograph halfway through the trip, when the novelty has settled and routine hasn’t yet returned. That in-between space where mornings are slow, decisions are minimal, and the only real question is why life can’t always feel this uncomplicated.
The boats sit still. The water barely moves. Nothing is asking for your attention and that’s the point.
